It is quick and easy to set up your own image gallery on the new gallery section
Step 1
Next to the members galleries select the Icon to the right, this is a small page with a + sign on it.

You must now give your gallery a name. If you look at the Image above you will note the Gallery name is Derek: Derek. The first "Derek" will always be your user name. The second Derek was my album name. If would have called the gallery Pictures it would have been displayed as Derek : Pictures.
Now that you have named your gallery you must select who will be able to see the gallery. By selecting everybody it will be viewable not only by AH members but by normal Guests as well. Removing the tick from "everyone" and placing it next to "all members" will make your gallery viewable by registered members only.
Now Click "Save"

And that is it, you have created your gallery. Once this is complete you must now create an album in the gallery. Click on you Gallery and follow the steps above to create an album in the gallery. Once you have created the album you must select that album to add pictures to the album.
