The 360 Spinner rig's name says it all. The hook has the ability to turn 360deg no matter which angle it gets picked up from that ensures that this rig has a very high pick up and set rate. It is of paramount importance however to note that this rig is purely for Monster carp fishing and the hook used is not a curved shank as this will cause serious damage to the carps mouth, especially carp under the 20lb mark.
On making of the rig I am not going to say to much as the graphics clearly shows how the rig should be assembled and tied, and used with a pop-up bait. You should attempt to stay away from rig putty or clip leads on the hook as this could effect the freedom of rotation of the hook.
We will be using a stiff mono line for the hook link as this will push the hook away from the lead so that the bait is presented correctly. The 360 rig is ideal for silt or where a lot of debris is on the lake bottom, I would however not fish this rig in dams with a lot of weed as the stiff mono might get tangled in between the weed.
We can use bait stops on either side of the rig ring. Always attempt to use stops that is either the same color of the hook or the bait you will be using. The hook link should always sink slowly to the bottom to ensure maximum distance from the lead. This will ensure that the hook link is directly on the lead with a take and will increase the set rate.
The rig can move in three different directions and with this presentation you also have a anti-blow back feature that makes this rig very hard to eject for the carp.
